The SAMBA III STI Ulcer Panel Test (P/N 7000-12) is a multiplex PCR test for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of nucleic acid from Herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 (HSV-1/2), Varicella zoster virus [VZV, Human herpes virus (HHV-3)], Chlamydia trachomatis, Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV), Treponema pallidum and Mpox I/II virus in human ulcer/lesion swab specimens.
