SAMBA III SCoV-2/Flu/RSV Test

The SAMBA III SCoV-2/Flu/RSV Test (P/N 9000-12) is a nucleic-acid based multiplex PCR test for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A, Influenza B and/or Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in human respiratory specimens (combined nose and throat swabs) from symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals.

Key features:

• Site must only provide a swab to collect a throat/nose sample, which is subsequently placed in the SAMBA III Specimen Buffer to inactivate the virus
• Detects two specific regions of SARS-CoV-2
• Influenza A is inclusive of H1N1, H3N2 and H5N1
• RSV is inclusive of RSV-A and RSV-B
• Less than 1 minute of hands-on time
• Results in 35 minutes
